Gilmour Strat Replica....the fingerboard

Dave Gilmour's Strat is Alder bodied. It had many necks but this version will have a replica of his rosewood neck.

I've selected a nice piece of Brazilian Rosewood, machined to 1/4" depth

its slotted it to a 25.5" scale length with a special jig and scale template

The fingerboard is ready to go on the neck

The fingerboard is glued to the neck using 'Titebond'

The clamps are off!

The fingerboard is trimmed to the taper of the neck
